I'm using myth the way humans have always used myth: as a mirror. Cassandra is the patron story of people who can see the pattern, name the danger, and still get treated like the problem. Sound familiar?

Truth doesn't automatically create safety. Sometimes truth makes you a target.
Disbelief is a control tactic. Not always conscious. But it functions like one.
Systems prefer compliance over accuracy. A person who names the pattern threatens the story the system need
